ISDI WPP is a private institute offering career oriented certificate programs. It does not offer degree programs and is not affiliated to any university. The students can attend full time degree granting colleges and pursue BA / B.COM or any degree course of their choice. It offers correspondence help in BA in Sociology, which is even taught by teachers twice a year in the college.
The program has a unique pedagogy wherein experiential learning and project based learning form a strong base. The students are exposed to live projects, industry guest lectures, research projects, international faculty, all of which are a part of the 3-year certificate program. This offering is not generally a part of courses offered by other institutions. It allows the students to be work ready and trains them according to the agency that they are stepping into.
The School has partnered with New Moon Hospitality to provide accommodation to all our outstation students across ISDI, ISDI WPP and ISME. An entire building is being used to accommodate all our students and the accommodation is located at Marine Lines, the address for which is - 99, K M Karve Road, New Marine Lines, Marine Lines, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400020.
While we have our hostel facility, our students also stay at PG Accommodations and Rented Apartments closer to the school. The Admissions Team can connect you with some of the agents and students if required.
ISDI WPP is a standalone institute and does not have any branches so far. It is only based in Mumbai, address for which is – 4th - 6th Floor, Tower 2A & 2B, One Indiabulls Centre, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400012.
The ISDI Challenge is a pre-requisite to admissions for the programs offered at ISDI WPP. The ISDI challenge entails of 2 stages. The first one is the written exam, which is on the lines of a general aptitude test followed by a personal interview.
The minimum (“benchmark”) entry requirement is clearing 12th grade from an Indian board or the equivalent in other qualifications such as the International Baccalaureate. Performance in the ISDI Challenge is also an important entry requirement. Thus all applicants must first apply through the web application form available on the website to go through the process of ISDI Challenge.
The application process for the program begins in October each year. All students pursuing their 12th grade can apply for the ISDI WPP Challenge through the web form available on the website. The web form will give you alternate test dates available along with different time slots, from which the applicant can choose the one that is most suitable to them.
Each student is provided with a unique application number when they apply through the online application form. A student who applies once need not apply again but needs to state in writing and get approval from the Admissions Office if they would like to postpone or prepone their Challenge date.
Yes, you can begin your application process before you get your final result. The results of the qualifying examinations need to be shared as early as possible. Until then all applicants will only receive a conditional offer.
The Admission Team takes minimum 15 days to process the application forms and assess all the applicants based on the 5 point grading criteria. The results are announced through email on the applicants registered email address. The applicant may also contact the Admission Team on the helpline numbers available on the website.
ISDI WPP is a private institute offering a certification to all students after successful completion of their 3-year undergraduate program. It is a certificate program.
After completion of the ISDI WPP Challenge, all successful applicants will receive a Conditional Offer. In order to accept the conditional offer the applicant must pay the Enrollment fees and secure their seat. The offer will become unconditional after their respective Board declares the final qualifying results and the student has met the conditional offer criteria. At this stage the Admission Team will ask for the first semester fees.
The program has been curated with support of industry professionals and it provides students with experiential learning within a vast educational framework. The students cover core subjects like Advertising & Communication, Digital Marketing & Activation, Media studies and Public Relations. In addition to this students are offered electives in Design, Entrepreneurial skills, Management and Liberal Arts.
There are no regular lectures on Saturday. If there are any special lectures, faculty from an international university or an Industry expert visiting, then there is a masterclass, about which the students will be informed in advance and attendance will be mandatory for the same.
The current fee for the academic year 2018-2019 is Rs. 2 lakh plus GST. There will be a 10% increment each year and the fee does not include Global and Rural Immersion fees.

The program is an experiential learning program with continuous evaluation for all subjects. Assessments to evaluate learning outcomes are held at the end of the semester, but there are assignments throughout the year.
ISDI holds regular Breakfast Meetings from the month of March, which are orientation and information sessions. These sessions are open to prospective students and parents to gather information regarding the program offered and to interact with the faculty at the institution.
The fees can be paid by NEFT, Demand Draft, RTGS and Cheque. The details of the same will be emailed to the applicant on their registered email address.
ISDI believes in holistic and all round development of all its students. In order to ensure this we offer multi-disciplinary electives across Design, Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise (DICE), which constitute the keystone of education at ISDI WPP. Students are required to opt for any 2 electives from a choice of 36 multi-faceted courses offered jointly by the 3 Schools – ISDI, ISDI | WPP and ISME.
Through our rural immersion program in association with Grassroutes Journey we stimulate the young India to bridge the gap between rural and urban India. The students are taken on an exciting journey of reconnoitering various heritage villages namely, Purushwadi, Dehna, Valwanda to witness the magic of nature in a safe, welcoming and pure environment.
Yes, ISDI WPP does offer Placements. The students are prepared through soft skill training and work-readiness sessions. They are mentored through Portfolio Building Workshops. The students have many opportunities to engage with Industry stalwarts and leaders through guest sessions, master classes and live projects. The students in the third year have a Career Café with leading HR heads visiting and interacting with the students. The WPP companies support fully for Placements subject to the student being work-ready.
As a part of the first semester, students are exposed to the industry through agency visits and second semester onwards are offered observerships and internships ranging from 2 to 6 weeks progressively. These are paid full-time internships provided in WPP companies. Students need to sign the Institutes’ internship policy and strictly adhere to the guidelines.
ISDI WPP is situated in the heart of Mumbai city, within the dynamic Lower Parel Innovation District (LPID). The central location allows easy access through Central Railway (Closest Station: Parel), Western Railway ( Closest Station : Elphinstone Road), Cabs: Ola/Uber and Private Vehicles
The School is situated on a corporate campus and thus requires all students to adhere to an expected standard of dressing, appropriate for a business school. Students are expected to wear smart casuals at all times. No distress jeans, skirts, dress or flip-flops are permitted on the campus.
The staff is on campus till 6:00 pm and the security allows students to be in the study booths or library till maximum 7:00 pm. All students will have to vacate the campus post this unless special permissions have been obtained.
A digital library is available for students with access to research journals and reports. The students can use the InfoMedia Centre, study booths to work on their assignments as well.
It is a 3-year program; there are 6 semesters in all.
No parking spaces are available for students on College Premises.
No locker facilities are available for students.
Since the program involves a lot of research, project work it would be good for the student to have a personal laptop to work on. The students can bring in their laptops to campus as per their requirements.
The ISDI WPP Challenge is an important aspect of the qualification criteria but not the sole criteria. The students will be evaluated on the basis of the ISDI WPP Challenge entailing the entrance test, personal interview and the other criterions like past academic records, extra-curricular participation and the 12th grade final results.
If the student declines the conditional offer, he/she will be refunded only Rs. 25,000 paid towards security deposit and will have to reapply and give another ISDI WPP Challenge to enroll for the program.
The enrollment fee is Rs. 42,500, which includes a one-time refundable deposit of Rs 25,000. This amount is subject to change.
If the student does not meet the admission criteria mentioned in the conditional offer, ISDI WPP will withdraw his/her admission. In this case only the Security deposit of Rs. 25,000 will be refunded.
We aim to attract the brightest and best minds to ISDI WPP. We offer a wide range of scholarships for undergraduates to support them through their studies. At ISDI WPP we thus provide scholarships to deserving students on the basis of need and merit. In addition to this, Educators Scholarship for students whose parents are in the field of education and Defense Scholarships are available.
The students can apply for scholarships once they have received a conditional offer. There are categories of scholarships available and the students can apply under the category that suits them. The Scholarships Committee will then evaluate all applications and appropriate scholarships will be granted.
The Global Immersion trip inspires students to understand the language of global business, learn first-hand about new cultures, engage with complex interconnected international issues and become empowered world citizens. It allows students to be a part of the global economy and learn the skills of this world abroad. Every year a new destination is selected to expose the students to global education and industry.
The fees structure is not inclusive of the fees charges for Global Immersions as these Global Immersions are optional and thus has to be paid separately.
ISDI WPP is an experiential learning program, which is taught and evaluated continuously, and Mumbai University exams are held once in the end of the year directly by University of Mumbai. This program allows a perfect blend of theory and practicality and thus they are able to cope with the two programs effectively.
There is no preparation required as it is a left brain test evaluating creativity and aptitude
It is an experiential learning program, which requires the students to completely immerse themselves in the program and make the most out of it. Thus a minimum 80% attendance is mandatory for the program.
